Collection: Ninh Thuan

Inspiration

This collection began with a journey to Ninh Thuận in 2023, where Mai - our founder  lived and learned alongside artisans of the Bàu Trúc pottery village.

The first designs were created right there, shaped by the warmth of the land and the people. We later brought those pieces to Ho Chi Minh City to continue developing them—still rooted in the skills taught by local artisans.

As a tribute to the land that started it all, we named the collection after it.

Technique

We preserved the rare open-air firing method used by Chăm artisans in Bàu Trúc—one of the last places on Earth still using this technique.

Each piece is made from Bàu Trúc clay and fired using reduction techniques, producing natural flame-kissed color effects that machines can't replicate.

The forms are inspired by the soft, irregular shapes of Ninh Thuận’s coastal rocks—rounded, asymmetrical, and full of character.

The collection will be introduced for the first time at Maison & Objet Paris, 04–08 Sept 2025. We’d love to have you visit and see the pieces in real life.
